Recommendation for Using mobile phone

Examples of the recommendations are:

1.       Keep the mobile phone away from the body.
2.       Do not telephone in a car without an external antenna.
3.       Use the speakerphone instead of putting the phone to your ear.
4.       Use a wired headset to limit your exposure to the cell phone -- ideally, an air-tube headset that conducts sound but prevents any radiation from traveling up the wire to your brain.
5.       Use the phone in open spaces as often as possible.
6.       Stay still when using a cell phone. If you keep moving around with it, more radiation is emitted because the phone needs to keep track of you.
7.       Turn the cell phone off when not in use.
8.       Children’s anatomical differences may allow greater exposure of their brain regions from cell phone RF because of differences in electrical conductivity in their bone marrow.
9.       Look for products designed to shield you as a cell phone user
Ø  A cell phone EMF protective device. These are small chips or button that are adhered to the phone reducing the impact of the transmitter signals.
Ø  A screen type shield. This is a screen placed over the phone's earpiece
10.    Purchase a cell phone that rates as low as possible on the scale of radiation emissions.
11.    Avoid sleeping with your mobile phones. Figure shows the percentage of users sleeping with their mobile phones
